The latest report states that reported by 9to5Mac, the iPad 3 will be released right on the birthday of Steve Jobs, February 24, 2012, to commemorate the departure of former CEO of Apple.
9to5Mac noted, Apple has a habit of announcing new gadgets at the press event, held on Tuesday or Wednesday and then release it on Friday or Saturday. So, February 24, 2012 is known to fall on Friday.
